Important Information and Directions

LOCATION: Our rental office is located on Hwy. 184 at the Sugar Mountain entrance. As you turn at the overhead caution light into the entrance of Sugar Mountain, we are in the building on the corner to your right. Dereka’s Sugar Mountain Accommodations Center & Realty, Inc is located at the main entrance of Sugar Mountain (on the corner of HWY 184 and Sugar Mountain Drive).

DIRECTIONS TO SUGAR MOUNTAIN FROM:
From Asheville:
	I-40 to U.S. 221 (Marion). Take U.S. 221 to HWY 105 North. (Linville, NC). Proceed approx. 4 miles to stop light (Exxon/McDonald’s on far corner). Turn left at light onto HWY 184 (aka Tynecastle Hwy). Proceed approx. 1.5 miles to Sugar Mountain Main Entrance (hanging caution light) on left.
From Florida (East Coast):
	Take I-95 to I-26. From I-26 get on I-85 in Spartanburg, SC. Follow I-85 about seven miles to U.S. 221 North. (Spartanburg/Chesnee Exit). From U.S. 221 North. get on 105 North. (Linville, NC). Take 105 North approx. 4 miles to stop light (Exxon/McDonald’s on far corner). Turn left at light onto HWY 184 North (aka Tynecastle Hwy). Proceed approx. 1.5 miles to Sugar Mountain Main Entrance (hanging caution light) turn left first building on the right (green building).
From Florida (West Coast):
	Take I-75 to I-85 (Atlanta). Then take I-85 to S.C. exit 78 - U.S. 221 North (Spartanburg-Chesnee Exit about 180 miles). Take 221 North get to HWY 105 North in Linville, NC (approximately two hours drive time from Spartanburg to Linville). Take 105 North approx 4 miles to stop light (Exxon/McDonald’s on far corner). Turn left onto 184 North. (aka Tynecastle Hwy). Proceed approx. 1.5 miles to Sugar Mountain Main Entrance (hanging caution light) turn left first building on the right (green building).
From East Tennessee:
	EAST TENN (Knoxville area): I-40 East to I-81 North and then exit Exit 57 to Johnson City onto I-26 East. Take HWY 67 to Elizabethton, intersect with 19E. Take 19E through Elizabethton and Roan Mountain. From US 19E (Elk Park, NC) take HWY 194 (turn left at the Times Square Diner). Travel about seven miles to Banner Elk. At the one stop light (Banner Elk Exxon on right) in Banner Elk, turn right and travel 2.5 miles to Sugar Mountain Main Entrance (hanging caution light) on the right.
From Eastern North Carolina (Raleigh, Durham, Winston-Salem, Greensboro):
	Take I-40 West to HWY 421 North (in Winston-Salem) to Boone. From Boone, take HWY 105 South, for 14 miles to stop light (stone buildings on right, Exxon/McDonald’s on left). Turn right onto HWY 184 North (aka Tynecastle Hwy). Proceed approx. 1.5 miles to Sugar Mountain Main Entrance (hanging caution light) on left.
From North Virginia (I-81):
	Take I-81 South. to I-77 (Near Pulaski, VA) go south on I-77 (to Wilksboro N.C.). Exit onto HWY 421 North. toward Boone. In Boone take HWY 105 South and travel 14 miles to stop light (stone buildings on right, Exxon/McDonald’s on left). Turn right onto HWY 184 North (aka Tynecastle Hwy). Proceed approx. 1.5 miles to Sugar Mountain Main Entrance (hanging caution light) on left.
From Charlotte:
	FROM I-77: Take I-77 to I-40 West to 321 North. to Boone. Then get on HWY 105 South and go 14 miles to HWY 184. Turn right onto HWY 184 North (aka Tynecastle Hwy). Proceed approx. 1.5 miles to Sugar Mountain Main Entrance (hanging caution light) on left.
From Charlotte Airport:
	Take Billy Graham Pkwy to I-85 South to Gastonia Exit (HWY 321). Take HWY 321 North through Lenoir, Blowing Rock and into Boone. In Boone, turn left onto HWY 105 South. Take 105 South approx. 14 miles to stop light (stone church on right, Exxon/McDonald’s on left). Turn right onto HWY 184 North (aka Tynecastle Hwy). Proceed approx. 1.5 miles to Sugar Mountain Main Entrance (hanging caution light) on left.

YOUR CHALET OR CONDO: Each unit is privately owned, rented through our agency, and furnished according to the owner’s tastes. You MUST pick up the keys at our office & return keys to our office.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. If you are planning a late arrival you must make arrangements for late check-in with our office. You must pick up key at our office. Proceeding directly to your unit will result in a trip back to our office. Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. This is strictly enforced so that the unit can be cleaned and made ready for the next guests. Check-in prior or check-out after the times stated above will result in an additional charge.

PAYMENT: Reservations made at least 21 days in advance may be confirmed by personal check. Reservations made fewer than 21 days in advance must be confirmed by money order or certified check. The balance of your reservation will be due upon arrival, and must be received before we can check any of your party in.

CANCELLATION: Cancellations made in writing and received 45 days prior to reservation arrival day will result in a return of the rental deposit less a cancellation charge of $25.00. Cancellations received fewer than 45 days prior to the arrival date will cause forfeiture of the rental deposit unless the unit can be re-rented to another party for the same rental duration. One Permitted change will result in a $10.00 change charge. Bad weather, bad road conditions, bad ski conditions, etc. do not affect this policy.

HOLIDAY RATES: Holiday rates apply from 12/21/07 - 12/31/07 and are offered as nightly rates only; no weekly rates available during this time. Holiday Rates also apply on Martin Luther King and President's Day weekends.
