Celebrating our 27th Year!

Sugar Mountain is the gem in the crown of the High Country in North Carolina. With a base elevation of 4000 feet and soaring to 5300 feet above sea level, our quaint all season vacation village is a slice of New England and Colorado in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Delightfully cool in the summer (average 70-75 degrees!); crisp and snowy in winter (120″ natural snow in 2013 supplemented by the best snow making in the mountains). We are at the center of fun no matter when you come. Here on Sugar Mountain enjoy skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, tubing and snow shoeing in winter; golf, tennis, hiking and mountain biking in warmer months. Nearby you’ll find incredible white water rafting, horseback riding, gem mining, antiquing, shopping and the best in high country dining. In autumn, a chorus of explosive fall colors beckons your return to Sugar Mountain in western North Carolina.

Check out our property listings, and find homes close to golf or tennis, vacation rentals convenient to skiing and hiking, soak in a hot tub, or sit back and relax while gazing at amazing views.
